Jordan's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi welcomed Tuesday the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken, continuing the discussions held during the six-way Arab ministerial consultation meeting with the United States in Riyadh yesterday, Monday.

In the context of the Arab and Islamic effort to achieve a complete ceasefire in Gaza, the two ministers discussed efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region and prevent any Israeli Occupation attack on the southern border city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
